La infortunada de 28 años respondía al nombre de Jenifer Soto Gelvis, quien fue trasladada al Hospital Manuel Noriega Trigo de San Francisco y desafortunadamente falleció cuando era atendida.
El accidente se produjo en horas de la tarde del viernes en la avenida 45 con calle 166 del municipio sureño. Un adolescente de 15 años –probablemente en estado de ebriedad- identificado como Armando Gutiérrez impactaría el vehículo que conducía, un Hyundai Getz, color azul, placas VCS-73G contra una camioneta Toyota Terios, de color azul, placas GCP-35K en la cual se encontraba Soto y dos personas más.
La conductora de la Terios fue identificada como Iraida Romero y la otra joven que viajaba en dicha camioneta responde al nombre de Yadenis Parra. Ambas fueron trasladadas al Hospital Doctor Pedro Iturbe, junto con el adolescente para la respectiva evaluación médica.
Familiares de Jenifer solicitaron a las autoridades que se castiguen con la ley a los responsables de la muerte de la joven profesional. “La muerte de Jenifer no debe quedar impune. Eran unos menores de edad quienes iban en ese carro, un acto irresponsable”, dijo su esposo Maureen Valbuena.
