Todas las actividades agendadas para Vive Maracaibo se realizarán de manera simultánea en cinco diferentes puntos: Parque General Rafael Urdaneta, Calle Carabobo, Patria Joven, Vereda del Lago y Plaza de la República. Todos a partir de la misma hora.
En la parrilla de programación, durante los cinco días, la Vereda del Lago contará con la tarima principal, la cual será visitada por el alcalde de Maracaibo, Willy Casanova. Actividades culturales, payasos, mimos, elaboración de papagayos, deportes, concursos de danza y canto, y muchas otras actividades recreacionales podrán disfrutar los asistentes, además del concierto de cierre el día martes.
El sábado, con motivo al Día de la Juventud, en la Plaza de la República habrá un encuentro de cultura urbana, bazar gastronómico, una cata del festival de destiladores, patinaje, pintura, música, entre otras actividades.
La también directora del servicio autónomo Vereda del Lago y coordinadora nacional del Movimiento Ecologista de Venezuela (Meven), aseguró que el objetivo principal del evento cultural es “darle un respiro a la gente”.
“Esta es una propuesta para contrarrestar la violencia, hostilidad y el estrés que todos en la ciudad estamos sumergidos por la aguda crisis. Este tipo de eventos hace que la gente se conecte”, expresó Estrech.
Indicó que “carnavales es la excusa para empezar a enseñarle a los marabinos la nueva agenda cultural que se mantendrá vigente durante toda la gestión”.
En cuanto al transporte y los servicios que se les brindará a los visitantes, el sistema de gobierno popular, facilitará por parroquia, autobuses pertenecientes al Plan Maracaibo Te Quiero para la movilización. El cuerpo policial del Estado y Polimaracaibo brindarán la seguridad en los cinco puntos del circuito cultural, además del organismo de protección civil y los bomberos de Maracaibo.
Los restaurantes y sitios de interés situados a los alrededores del Parque Urdaneta, Vereda del Lago, Patria Joven, Calle Carabobo y Plaza de la República trataron un convenio con la Cámara Hotelera y de Turismo para “llamar más la atención de los turistas”.
