Villegas escribió: «Búsqueda de helicóptero EV0796 en Estado Amazonas en continúa intensamente, confirman autoridades militares venezolanas». Dijo además que «Venezuela unida en la oración y respeto por la vida. No es tiempo de ligereza para medios y políticos».
