Taylor James, el internauta y propietario de la empresa canadiense Cult Collectibles, quien recientemente puso en venta los lentes del asesino serial, Jeffrey Dahmer, ahora sorprende al mundo con esta irracional oferta en subasta.
Cult Collectibles, es un sitio web que vende artículos relacionados con asesinos en serie. La subasta de las gafas utilizadas por Dahmer durante su tiempo en prisión, tuvo un precio de venta de 150.000 dólares, por lo que Taylor James, cree que “La urna de cenizas del Monstruo de Milwaukee es el artículo más raro relacionado con un crimen real que ofreceré en este sitio”, por lo que no permitirá planes de pago, ni intercambios de las cenizas. Sólo se aceptarían solicitudes serias de compras de la urna.
La serie de Netflix Monstruo: La historia de Jeffrey Dahmer sigue generando una gran controversia a la vez que arrasa en la plataforma. Tras las críticas recibidas por la forma en que se relata la historia del asesino Jeffrey Dahmer, ahora la madre de una de sus víctimas ha cargado contra la serie de Ryan Murphy.
Shirley Hughes, madre de Tony Hughes, ha expresado su indignación en una entrevista a The Guardian, donde asegura que no entiende cómo se ha podido hacer esta serie, utilizando las trágicas muertes de las víctimas de Dahmer.
«No entiendo cómo pueden usar nuestros nombres y publicar cosas así. No sucedió así».
Aseguró su madre, sobre lo que se muestra del asesinato de su hijo. Tony, un joven sordomudo, aspirante a modelo que tenía 31 años cuando Jeffrey lo asesinó en el año 1991.
Shirley, que ahora tiene 85 años, lamenta tener que remover el dolor y critica que los productores de la serie no se pusieran en contacto con los familiares de los asesinados antes de abordar este proyecto.
Las críticas de Hughes se suman a la de otros familiares que han cargado contra la serie de Netflix. Eric Perry, primo de la víctima Errol Lindsey, desveló en su perfil de Twitter que se había enterado de la existencia de la serie cuando la plataforma la lanzó y se convirtió en un fenómeno internacional.
Perry añadía que, aunque Netflix no estaba obligado a consultar con las familias de las víctimas, la forma en que se abordan los hechos ha supuesto un nuevo «trauma» para los seres queridos de quienes fueron asesinados por Dahmer.
