El diputado oficialista Diosdado Cabello dijo ayer que el secretario general de la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA), Luis Almagro, es una persona «detestable» y que «odia» a Venezuela, tras afirmar que la activación de la Carta Democrática significa una invasión de fuerzas extranjeras al país.
«Esa OEA desprestigiada, ese Almagro, que no lo dudo en decir, es una persona detestable, odia a Venezuela, odia a nuestro país, a él no le importa más nada de lo que ocurre en América sino lo que ocurre en Venezuela», dijo Cabello durante su programa Con el Mazo Dando transmitido por el canal estatal VTV.
El considerado número dos del chavismo pidió a Almagro no meterse con Venezuela y aseguró que su supuesto odio y rencor «es porque él no va a ser presidente de Uruguay».
El pasado 14 de marzo, Almagro presentó una actualización del informe sobre la situación de Venezuela que presentó el año pasado y desde entonces el Gobierno venezolano ha expresado su rechazo a este documento.
Asimismo, Cabello se refirió a la decisión del Parlamento, controlado por la oposición, de apoyar la aplicación de la Carta Democrática en una votación a la que no asistieron los diputados oficialistas y dijo que lo que hicieron es un «acto censurable».
«La Carta Democrática contra Venezuela, ¿nuestro pueblo está consciente de lo que significa eso? (…). ¿A qué le abre la puerta la activación de la Carta Democrática contra un país equis, sea Venezuela o el que sea? Hasta una invasión, hasta la utilización de fuerzas militares extranjeras en nuestro país», afirmó.
En ese sentido, criticó que vayan venezolanos a «arrastrar» e «implorar» que se aplique el instrumento contra su país.
«No te queremos ni a ti ni a la OEA, y los vendepatria váyanse para allá», agregó.
