Tubalcaín Vílchez Lubo, tenía 27 años, y lo apodaban “El Caín”. Estaba en la lista de los 10 delincuentes más buscados por los cuerpos policiales del estado Zulia y del país. Su muerte fue confirmada este lunes 18 de junio, de acuerdo con declaraciones el mismo secretario de Gobierno de la Gobernación del Zulia, Lisandro Cabello.
Cabello declaró en una rueda de prensa sobre seguridad que a “El Caín” “se le dio de baja” y que Vílchez “azotaba con extorsión y sicariatos a Machiques y a La Villa”.
Contó que al hombre lo atacaron la semana pasada un grupo de presuntos irregulares que se encontraban en la frontera entre Colombia y los municipios Catatumbo y Jesús María Semprún.
“Era un delincuente que atacaba a la colectividad de ese sector, a través de extorsiones a ganaderos. Producto de haberle colocado el código rojo, no se le permitió movilidad, y a lo que quiso ingresar a Venezuela hubo confrontaciones tanto con los cuerpos irregulares como con nuestro Ejército, policía y Guardia Nacional”.
El secretario de Gobierno precisó que a Tubalcaín Vílchez, lo torturaron antes de su muerte y que lo buscaban por los delitos de extorsión, secuestro y asesinato.
A manera de recuento, se conoció que a Tubalcaín lo detuvo la Guardia Nacional en enero de 2014 en la urbanización Lago Azul en Maracaibo. Refieren las autoridades que quiso robar un cajero automático y lo señalaron de haber asesinado, al menos, a 14 personas en Perijá.
Estuvo detenido en el retén El Marite, pero se fugó ese mismo año cuatro meses después. Refieren las publicaciones en medios que “El Caín” trabajaba de la mano de su hermana Sioly Vílchez, quien daba clases en un centro de educación especial de Machiques.
La mujer fue detenida en noviembre de 2016 por funcionarios del Comando Nacional Antiextorsión y Secuestro (Conas), de la GNB, cuando se le detectó su presunta participación en extorsiones a productores agrarios, que cobraba en la escuela donde laboraba.
Sioly su madre, Ana Lubo estuvieron detenidas en el retén de Cabimas y se fugaron junto con otras reclusas a finales de marzo de 2018. Las autoridades las buscan.
